
MBI has recently scaled up its financial modelling capabilities in a bid to provide greater value to clients within MB Group in addition to external clients.
It has completed multiple assignments using Advanced Excel, VBA and Power BI. A major success was on improving the Group’s Budgeting and Planning Model which going forward will include enhanced options for price sensitivity analyses across various segments, resulting in a more nuanced understanding of the impact of pricing on the overall financial performance, financial ratios and key performance indicators.
The new planning model gives access to the stakeholders to actionable insights for strategic decision-making across multiple segments through a unified dashboard.
